In 2022, Clean Between will continue to bill fees using the 2020 Dental Hygiene Fee Guide. We are hoping this will help those families and people who have been negatively affected by the Covid 19 pandemic continue to access our services. We recognize that dental services are costly, but we also know the importance of regular visits for both your mouth and your overall health and well being.
MEET YOUR HYGIENISTS
Denise Pawlyshyn, RDH
Denise, registered dental hygienist, owner and operator of Clean Between. Unfortunately, things did not heal as expected after shoulder surgery in 2018 and she is unable to continue working as a Dental Hygienist at this time. Further treatments and surgery may be needed to address the persistent complications.
Denise has worked very hard to find the right hygienists to provide care for her patients while she continues working on her recovery.

Denise graduated from The College of New Caledonia in Prince George with a Diploma in Dental Hygiene, in 1998. Her passion for oral health took her overseas, where she gained invaluable experience from working directly with highly skilled, knowledgeable dentists and specialists.
In the spring of 2012, Denise completed the DECOD (Dentistry for Persons with Disabilities) program through the University of Washington, which qualifies her to work as a residential care dental hygienist.
Denise constantly educates herself by attending dental conventions, by reading everything available relating to oral health and overall health, she keeps up to date about the newest dental products on the market.
Denise has taken her IST course offered by CHDA in Victoria. IST allows Denise to provide temporary interim restorations in situations where patients are otherwise unable to access dental services.
With over 20 years of clinical experience, you can trust that you will receive the highest
quality of care from Denise.

Daniel, RDH
Clean Between is excited to welcome a new member to our team. Introducing Daniel, our second Registered Dental Hygienist.
As a Castlegar native I am happy to be able to practice dental hygiene in the Kootenay’s. I have been practicing in the area since 2012 and have had the opportunity to provide care at many of the local dental practices while also maintaining a regular patient load at my former practice. I am looking forward to meeting new patients here at Clean Between.

I graduated with a diploma in dental hygiene from the Vancouver College of Dental Hygiene in 2012. Since completing this program I have remained an avid learner continually increasing my knowledge and clinical skills in all things dental with both in person and on-line continuing education programs. I truly enjoy working with my patients to help them improve their dental health and help educate them to achieve their oral health goals.
I have been on two dental hygiene volunteering trips working overseas with Kindness in Action, a group that provides dental care to those who do not have access to treatment. I enjoy using my skills and experience to help my community here as well and have taken part in the local Rotary Youth Leadership Conference as well as creating presentations to educate others about the local LGBTQ community.
In my free time I enjoy all things “Plants” from carnivorous to orchids, bonsai to fungi, I always like to see things grow! Before I became a dental hygienist I did chef’s training so cooking, fermentation and preserving are also great for bringing family and friends together. When I am not growing or creating in the kitchen I like to cuddle with my two cats Statler and Waldorf.
I am looking forward to getting to know the patients at Clean Between and helping them to achieve optimum oral health.

Nikki is also active in volunteering to aid those in need. She has joined teams of medical and dental professionals for mission trips to third world countries. She also regularly gives back at home in the Kootenay's by donating toothbrushes to local hospitals and food banks. Being very goal oriented, she plans to continue to do mission trips each year to isolated communities with no access to dental care.
In her free time, Nikki enjoys travelling the world, hiking, and spending time with her animals ( 2 Sphynx cats and her new Doodle).
